My mind wondering
My soul apprehensive
My mind, body and soul pulling apart
Wanting to be apart
Needing to spread
I’m not myself
Not anymore
I’m a drifter
A stranger to all that I pass by
A faint image
A fading image of who I was
My mind changing
Forgetting the memories
Undoing the past pains
My body changing
Morphing to no set design
Remaking itself
Feeling my soul resisting
Fighting for its self
Struggling to keep it away
